Former head of Obama administration could be elected mayor of Chicago

Election Commission of Chicago (Chicago Board of Election Commissioners) has allowed the former head of the administration of U.S. President to fight for a place the mayor of Chicago.

Note that the stumbling block was one of the conditions under which a mayor of Chicago might run for only those candidates who at the time the campaign had lived in at least one year. However, ex-head from January 2009 to October 2010 served as head of presidential administration and lived in Washington.

Officials have named a room and forced to allow the ex-head to run for mayor.
