Kinds of polishes

There are two types of polishes - restorative and protective. How do they differ? To this end, we consider each type separately.

Restorative polishing is used to correct issues in the operation of adverse effects of natural factors on the paintwork of the car body and making body of the primordial form. As a result, polish removed defects such as scratches (if their depth does not exceed the thickness of the paint, that is not reaching the ground), and erased oxide layers present on the surface of the body (their presence is expressed in the turbidity of paint).
The essence of restorat
ive polishing is to remove the top layer of paint coating thickness of several microns. Restorative polishing includes multiple steps: a rough polishing, which is conducted with the use of polishing pastes that contain abrasives, body wash, which is used to remove residual grit and final stage - finishing (Paperback) polishing, a process which uses special polishing paste.
Indeed, after the restoration polishing body looks like new. The question is how long the body will remain in this state. If you operate a car every day, then about a month. The term is not large. Therefore, immediately after the restoration polishing is recommended to resort to defensive polish with Teflon coating.
If the car is new, the need for restorative polish there, and if the right to make a protective polish and make it to the desired frequency, the reconstruction needs polishing will not arise at all. The process of conducting a protective polishing is the application of Teflon coatings on the car body to maintain the appearance and protect the paintwork from harmful environmental exposures.
The idea of a protective polishing is the fact that Teflon printed on the surface of the body, creates a protective film on the surface. With this film, the body is better to clean, repels moisture (by drying drops of water on the body does not stain), do not fade under the influence of ultraviolet rays, is protected from abrasion by the action of sand and from the negative effects of chemical salts. Protective polish lasts for six months.
