Pregnancy: to survive in the corporate world

What if you actively work while expecting a baby? Take the arms tips for organizing work in the corporate world during pregnancy.

Taken a clear decision
First, the pregnant woman, Acting Director, takes a more stringent and confident decisions. Discusses both sides of the issue, but explain this determination is quite simple. When a person is limited in time, constantly feeling sick and tired, he just can not be soft or worry about the feelings of everyone. Pregnancy does not cause a woman to take hasty decisions, but since there is a limitation of time before birth, the woman should clearly formulate its position and move on.

Greater efficiency in work
If we stick to the old thinking, the woman must efficiently allocate their time, since it is simply not enough energy for late-night sessions, which are a huge number of drinking coffee. Instead, it activates the morning sessions, business lunches and set hard priorities, which determine which projects and initiatives will be phased out.

Active delegating responsibilities
Pregnant women, Acting Director, just a positive attitude to delegate projects as well as quickly realize that there is nothing wrong in that they can not do all the work, becomes relevant theme of teamwork. In addition, women need support during maternity leave, so it's a good time to start the distribution of duties among staff. Good advice to employees, plans to soon be on maternity leave: delegate your responsibilities to multiple staff members. If you entrust all of their professional secrets and duties of one employee, a person can simply take your position!

Tips for organizing work
Here are some tips that will help you to work in the business world during pregnancy.

* Cancel or transfer the early and late sessions. Most likely, you'll feel too bad until 9:30 am (nausea in the mornings), and too tired after 4 pm.

* Wait until the employees themselves will notice your second trimester. Although there are laws protecting your right to work, the reality is that when people learn about your pregnancy, they begin to wonder "whether it can cope with that?" And begin to carefully monitor everything you do. Your boss can not ignore you when it comes to large projects, and employees can apply for your job. We recommend you wait for the onset of the second trimester because at that time you regain your strength and be better to think clearly. And then the employees who may be interested in your workplace, or chiefs, who may consider to remove you from major projects and responsibilities will be to you a fitting rebuff to (at least several more months!).

* Keep snacks and drinks on hand. You can not predict when you will meet during the day, or at what time the case will allow you to leave your job. A pregnant woman will remain a strong business-woman, if it can withstand the pressure of its employees.

* You do not have to give up morning coffee. Today, many doctors agree that a couple of cups of coffee a day will be even useful for you. If you really want to be upbeat every day and collected, one or two cups of coffee are allowed in your diet every day - as long as you do not exceed this rate and save a total intake of caffeine per day at no greater than 300 mg.

* Reduce the social obligations of the weekend. If you're a business woman, and while expecting a baby, you have to sacrifice some of the projects, because no matter what you think, you just can not physically and emotionally to do all things at once. This means that the time for you to begin to say "no" to certain social obligations which are not essential (such as birthday or wedding best friend), otherwise you do not have enough energy to maintain a social life, and career opportunities. Your true friends will understand you, but much of the business environment is not spared.

* Do not call to work on weekends. The magic word balance means that to see their friends and relatives for you is as important as the attention and time to yourself. It is important to your pregnancy and for your overall emotional and physical well-being. The notion of balance also means that it is necessary to devote some time to work certain hours and for social projects. This is no time hitting the boss work overtime, at night or on weekends. These feats exhausted you and make your absence in the office while caring for the child more visible to superiors and colleagues. Instead, show them what you can do their work efficiently and in working time.

* No more empty talk. If you can not work late or on weekends, you need to be as productive as possible during regular business hours. It's time to seriously restrict their communication at work: a difficult task if you have a chatty assistant in the office or active communication is an accepted norm in the office. All a matter of priorities.
   * Make time for regular exercise. And the last rule, but not least: do not forget to exercise. Regular physical exercise clears your brain, streamline your emotions and make you more productive and happy during pregnancy. It can be weekly yoga classes or take long walks with the dog, but if you treat them like a business appointment, it will help you convince yourself that exercise - an important part of your present life.
