Google paid for the office of 1,8 billion dollars

Google Inc. became the owner of one of the largest office buildings in Manhattan.

According to the seller, the search engine bought office for 1.8 billion dollars, thus concluding the largest deal this year, the office market the United States.

The building itself is located on Eighth Avenue, 111 in the exclusive area of Chelsea and it was constructed in 1932. Previously the building was a warehouse. Area 18-storey building of 273 thousand square meters.
